Remove has_computed_ff_ds_gammas (not used, usage unclear)

has_computed_ff_ds_gammas doesn't get used and to be honest I feel like it's also set wrong: Why would has_computed_ff_ds_gammas be set to False if we can load it from a path?

So I propose to remove it
